Professional skills

During Unit Two, I actively participated in two well-curated public exhibitions, namely "Filet" and "The Bargehouse." To fully engage in these exhibitions, I volunteered to join the respective curatorial teams of both events. For "Filet," I collaborated with another student to contribute to the creation of the exhibition poster and assisted with curation and unpacking tasks on an inaugural day.

Similarly, at "The Bargehouse," I assumed the role of curator for Zone 1 within the curatorial group, offering guidance and support to fellow students involved in the curation process.

Furthermore, in normal circumstances, I consistently participate in the workshops organized by each college of the University of the Arts London (UAL). As part of my academic pursuits, I applied to prestigious institutions such as Camberwell College of Arts UAL, Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U) in Toronto, Canada, and City and Guilds of London Art School (CGLAS). I am delighted to have received authorization for one of the five coveted spots in the academy. This opportunity has allowed me to engage with a diverse international online research event, fostering the formation of a new virtual community of artists.

Moreover, I am currently involved in the planning of an exhibition titled "On Purple" alongside my classmates. The purpose of this exhibition is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their works. I have taken on responsibilities to ensure the event's smooth operation and the exhibition space's effective arrangement.

In terms of my research endeavours, I have focused on the overarching theme of hedonism. Through a deliberate approach that encourages exploration and divergence, I have continuously sought out materials and behaviours that authentically capture the essence of sensuality.
